You couldn't find a better spot for your Nova Scotia vacation retreat than The Cottage at Blanche... situated overlooking one of Canada's premier salt water marshes and the pure Atlantic Ocean. Just minutes away from the historic town of Shelburne and an easy drive to Halifax, Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg. This log-based cottage has been the retreat of choice for artists, writers, couples and families for more than twenty years. 

The area offers much in the way of natural beauty, history, arts and recreation. You can walk on the 26 acres of oceanfront land, or along the country roads, or drive a short way to some of the most beautiful beaches in Canada.

We are twenty minutes from Shelburne, where you can enjoy the museums, restaurants, shops and galleries, marina and yacht club and live music and theatre at the Osprey Arts Centre. The cottage has three bedrooms, and two baths, sleeps up to six and is fully stocked with dishes, linens, cookware, etc. We prefer to have guests stay for a week at a time, but shorter visits are possible. Our rates for the fall season are: $600 for one week, or $300 for two to three nights.
